I only chose to eat in this little place called Chillz because my friend didn't want to walk to the commercial building. Since everything was so carbolicious, I ordered the Nasi Lemak (Direct translation = Rice Fats) without the Nasi (Rice). So I just had the lemak (Fat). The food was a little too cold for my liking but it wasn't bad, and I was pretty famished. I paid Rm7 for two pieces of chicken, two eggs and some condiments.
I tried a spoon of my friend's Fried Noodles, it was fairly decent, a little spicy, a bit bland. But what do you expect for Rm2.50?

Mamak Food @ Damansara Perdana
Eating at the same Mamak Restaurant that served the bad Fried Noodles (Previous Post), I ordered the U.S.A Fried Rice this time. I must admit that the chicken stew was a little overwhelming for my healing stomach. But the rice was decent. It cost me around Rm7 and this dish is good to order if you're feeling like eating a variety of dishes on one plate. Very Mediocre. Nothing to scream about,

Mamak Food @ Damansara Perdana
So after my food poison ordeal, I was quite picky with my food, and decided that I should let myself have a little bit of carbs, the Fried Noodles (pictured above) was ordered by my friend, it's cooked in the Indian Muslim (mamak) style and I must say that it is very very oily. It wasn't good, and my friend had to force himself to try and finish it, it cost around Rm3.50 for this dish.
I ordered the Maggie Goreng, Maggie goreng is basically fried instant noodles, it's pretty mediocre, and I had mine with some fish curry. At first I was a little put off by the added bean sprouts but then I realized that the bean sprouts actually gave it an extra crunch. Quite decent. Rm4.20.

First Post (hari raya)
First of all, before I begin, i would like to wish everyone a Selamat Hari Raya dan Maaf Zahir dan Batin to all Malaysians (all races) and hope you have a good time attending open houses and eating tons of Malay food.
For your information, this blog is an extension of my blog which already exists which is http://jeffreytanggau.blogspot.com. But with this blog, I'm going to focus entirely on food. I am a food person, I especially love eating all kinds of food, which explains why I'm fat. However, now I'm on a no carb diet, so the food that you see in my blog are mostly carb free (no rice, potatoes, bread, noodles etc). However, they do not lack any taste, I just generally don't ask for mee for my curry mee soup (sad rite?).
So with Hari Raya here, I managed to go to one open house, but i did manage to snag some Malay food, pictured above is some Beef Randang along with this Pineapple 'salad' and tomato rice. I must say that the tomato rice and pineapple 'salad' is to die for, the taste of the cream is good and adds a little extra mpmh to the dish. The Rendang was good and the Curry was fine as well. But the rice did truly stand out.
As for this dish pictured above, it's a Malay version fried noodles or Mamak Mee Goreng accompanied by the Pineapple 'salad' (its damn good) and this random pie that doesn't match the raya feel. The noodles were fine, nothing special, but I truly did enjoy the Pineapple 'salad' and Tomato Rice.
I know i'm on a no carb diet but I just had two scoops of rice along with very little noodles! I'll get back to you soon with more pictures!
